Please note that this product is for slime body presentation. It will not fit a 27" Thunderbolt Display. It will not snap and you have to Hold the device to connect something to it, or slide it out of the USB port from the back. Quality design, quality finish, looks great! Fixes a USB placement issue on my 21" iMac. However, like many external passive USB terminals, it is limited by DC capacity and does not work for my external Mac CD/DVD player or Passport in my case -Backup even when connected to a higher bandwidth port on my computer. it works but once you connect what you need don't touch it at all. I plugged in a portable hard drive and every time I plugged in another USB stick or even touched/hit the device it "ejected" but wrongly and once it was during a backup so data was lost / were damaged. Now I only use this to charge/sync my iPhone and iPad and still have to be careful not to touch/hit it during syncing, but that's exactly what it works for.
