Description of 🎨 SAINSMART Flexible Printing Filament Dimensional: Unleash Versatile Creativity with High-Quality Flexibility

Approximately 250 grams, feet of filament on a spool with a case so it's not flopping all over the place. Splash Spools store easily in a desk drawer, stacked space or even hang on a wall. Be sure you are ordering the correct diameter for your printer. This product is only available in 1.75mm. Specially formulated plastic with increased amount of flexibility, with rigid structure. Recommended for printing objects, which will be impacted more than normal ones. SAINSMART filament is 100% TPU. TPU is essentially polyurethane, it belongs to the TPE class of thermoplastics. Recommended for printing objects, which will be impacted more than normal ones. Flexible Filament does not feed well on all 3D printers. Please check your printer specifications before ordering. Only available in 1.75mm diameter. It's better to work on direct drive extruders. Please print slowly and read the tips if you are bowden.

The best TPU I've ever used!

I've tried many different types of flexible filament over the years, many with very inconsistent results (paper jams and feeding issues), despite spending many hours tweaking print profile settings. When I was successful I had to sacrifice good clean prints and print with a 0.6mm nozzle. But with Sainsmart TPU filament I can print with a 0.4mm nozzle and a custom print profile and had no problems! I was even able to print with support and haven't had a single bad print to this day! The key to…

Pros
  • Flexible filament is not suitable for all 3D printers. Please check the specifications of your printer before ordering. Available in 1.75mm diameter only.

Learn a little

I ordered a red TPU for Christmas along with a 3rd party PLA for my new Ender 3, I received my ender on Christmas Eve before work and was able to run it for test prints, I ended up with the free Pla sample used without error afterwards of course bed alignment. Then I started using SAINSMART Red TPU which was a disaster. The TPU clogged my first nozzle which led me to YouTube to find out what I did wrong. It required a completely different heating and set-up speed. So I switched to the backup…

Pros
  • SAINSMART thread is made of 100% TPU. TPU is essentially polyurethane and belongs to the TPE class of thermoplastics. Recommended for printing objects that are affected more than normal.

  • Very expensive

Good thread but with a twist. literally.

I like this thread. I usually use Inland from Microcenter, but it seems they recently switched suppliers and the new PLA isn't as good as what they had before. The material they had before is now called PLA+ and costs more. So I thought it would be worth expanding and getting something new so I ordered it. I like it at first sight. Prints nice. It is smooth. It's pretty much true to size. BUT. It seems to have flair. It's like it's coming from a twisted coil. And with my roller bearing spool…
