Enhance Your Recording Experience with the Samson MK-10 Microphone Boom Stand Review

I really appreciate this boom post but there are just a few things I would like to do a little better. I use this boom stand to hold the shock absorber and blue yeti mic. Sometimes the boom stand tips over due to the weight of the microphone. The opposite of this, of course, is to adjust the microphone holder so that the microphone is not too far from the center of the tripod. However, this reduces the effective height of the stand. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a budget mic stand. I had a cheap competitor brand boom stand but one of the adjustment knobs was threaded so I looked elsewhere. Glad I found this one - even cheaper than the cheap competitor brand but all the threads are metal inserts in plastic fittings (metal screws don't go straight into plastic threads) so I think it will prove to be more durable. Can't understand the negative reviews. This is Revain's cheapest mic stand - very cheap! If you're a "pro" why on earth think about getting the cheapest of the cheapest for your job? Not to mention buying it, playing with it, breaking it and then complaining that it's junk? Read the negative reviews of the On Stage stands. They are worse than this Samson attitude! Very happy so far. Build quality seems better than most in this price range. I just needed some extra stands to keep the mic off the floor. Tripod assembly is different from normal assembly, cam lock allows the base to slide up on the shaft, easy to operate. I saw one reviewer have an issue where the cam lock was no longer tight enough to keep the mic shaft from sliding onto the floor.
