Bought this monitor in early February. When I first unboxed it, I was struck by its overall design aesthetic. The brushed aluminum base and back panel look fantastic. The first monitor I had had horrible bruises in the top right corner and all the colors in that corner of the screen were greyed out. I bought mine in January and have been using it for about 1-2 weeks. It has a very noticeable and annoying backlight on the bottom and right edges. Revain is offering me a replacement to hopefully fix these issues. I'll post an update when I get a new one. Aside from the backlight, this monitor delivers the best 2D picture I've ever seen on a TV or monitor. 3D is also implemented very well in games that support it (Portal 2, etc.).

The monitor itself is the best 27 inch gaming LCD you can buy. If you buy a good monitor. The Mexican Samsung factory that makes them has serious quality control issues. Retailers, some even pulled them out.
