I recently got a used surfboard and wanted a new leash. It's pretty basic but works well. I got 2 tries in the wave pool a couple of times. I often get my feet tangled when walking and swimming, but so far it hasn't affected my boarding. I would buy this again.

I bought this for my Wavestorm surfboard and it was super easy to fit and use! The leash holds up well and doesn't hurt like some other leashes I've tried in the past. The length also makes it more comfortable to wear in the water and on land. I highly recommend it if you need to replace the leash.

Just on my first wipeout, the fabric cord that connects to the ankle broke and the other end of the cord that connects to the board is about to break too to break after just one wipeout in a medium sized wave with a storm! And not only did I get a defective piece, no, you look at the quality of the fabric cord and you immediately understand that it is garbage. Avoid, avoid!

As much as I love Wavestorms for anything under 3ft Hawaiian, they have the worst lines and they always break or the velcro stops sticking and lets me float and lift you off the board Reef. This leash is a great replacement. The Velcro holds up better than a regular leash and I've already ordered another just in case. The real test will be after using it for a while but for now I like it.

I bought this leash to complement the standard leash on my Wavestorm board. My first impression was great - the leash is very comfortable on the ankle, looks great and is safe to ride. However, after about 10 sessions, the line clicked with little fuss (i.e. minimal effort). The puzzling aspect is that it broke in the middle of the line, which appears to be the strongest part of the line. At this price you definitely get what you pay for.

Love the ease of installation and the comfort the leash offers. However, the leash broke pretty quickly in the larger surf. In July of this year, the southern waves were rising in Hawaii and I was able to snag two of those leads, which set me on a long journey. I would recommend using this leash on shorter days but be very careful with this leash in waist or chest high waves.

I bought this leash to fit my new surfboard. After a few weeks of surfing without a leash, this leash completely changed my surfing skills. The leash is long enough, the cuff is secure and the cuff design allows the leash to move without hitting the surfer too hard. As long as you keep the leash wrapped tightly around the board to dry, the leash will not get tangled in the water. It was a great purchase at a reasonable price for my surfing repertoire.

Good quality at a good price. It has never been cancelled. Please note that I am using this leash on a foam board, not a glass board. It doesn't have a rail saver, which means a rough wipeout could result in the leash hitting the back edge of the board and damaging the rails or tail. I've surfed without a Railsaver for years and this has never happened, but it's always possible, especially in bigger waves than the 1-5 foot I call home.
