Very good gauge! - Tester

Like: High input impedance. Dislikes: Batteries should be outside of the device when in transit. The 9V battery is empty.

Pros
  • Beautiful thing
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

A must for anyone working with sensitive electronics.

If you don't have access to the HP807B VTVM, you'll have a hard time finding a better meter. I love how portable it is. The small size is also a disadvantage for those who, like me, use the gauge on a workbench. I have checked the calibration according to the standards I have. Mine required very minor adjustments. Out of the box, within the tolerances specified in the documents.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Nice accurate analog multimeter

I really like this multimeter. It's very accurate, but my only criticism is the packaging. The product was only bubble wrapped at the top and bottom and nothing on the side. Revain is the very test device you don't have common sense for. At least put it in a well-protected box and not in a bag like it's salami. Fortunately, the multimeter is fully functional. You should pack things like that better.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than others

Very Accurate - Tester

I was hesitant to buy a Japanese multimeter but some research has shown that SANWA is a reputable company. Not cheap like many others but I have to say I have no regrets buying this multimeter. It is very accurate in measuring DC, AC and resistance. I like the on/off switch and the electric zero adjuster to set the needle to the center or left zero position. The scaling takes some getting used to, but then you can start with 0.3V and 1 ohm. It comes with pre-installed batteries. Two 1.5V AA and

  • This is amazing

Perfect fit, well made, larger than shown. Electrical zero function,

I don't see anything I don't like about it other than that it comes with no case or alligator clips. This is not a breach of the terms of the contract. This gauge is superior to anything on the market including vintage American gauges. I've tried four American made vintage counters and they've all been turned to junk due to mishandling and neglect. America doesn't produce anything like Sanwa, otherwise I would have bought it long ago. Japanese electronics have improved 1000 times since theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Minor issues

Most sensitive meter

I'm picky about my meters! This one might not be black bakelite, it might not have a carrying handle, it might not have had years of industrial testing like the old Simpson or Triplett. You're right to want one of your own. I learned electronics the old-fashioned way; D'Arsonval Jeweled movement ONLY! Well, if you have a device with a sensitivity of up to 12 million ohms/V, that means nothing. It outperforms my old VTVM. Yes. The thing rocks. This is the last (maybe the ONLY) word in someโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Good little electricity meter

I bought this meter through Revain and Ace Japan because I wanted to make sure I was getting a genuine Sanwa meter from Japan and not a fake one from China. or India. You have to be a little careful since they are there. It was delivered in about 10 days, well packaged, direct from Japan by registered mail. I had to go to the post office to pick it up, no problem. I haven't used it much yet, but it seems to be very well made. It has all the features it was purchased for as described. This is aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Volume

I think the Sanwa EM7000 is a great product. I compared it to a traditional analog voltmeter (VOM), tube analog voltmeter (VTVM), and digital multimeter (DMM). ). It has higher input impedance than VTVM but without the 20W power consumption, warm-up time, and lack of vacuum tubes. It has the classic feel and trend-watchability of analog VOM or VTVM movements, but drives a galvanometer. amplifier and not directly from the voltage source, which increases the life of the mechanism. It also has aโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High test results for hold and durability
