Good quality but received wrong kit

This was supposed to be the SAE version but they sent me the metric version. I ordered both sets but received 2 metric sets. Otherwise they appear to be of good quality.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • There are new competitors

I ordered SAE and received Metric

Like several other reviewers, I ordered SAE and got Metric. Luckily 13mm and 14mm are so close to 1/2" and 9/16" that I was able to complete the job. These wrenches have a nice weight and feel, no sharp edges and the alloy has a nice feel. For the price it's a bargain and a necessity for anyone working on brake, fuel or air conditioning lines.

Pros
  • . Everything is OK!
Cons
  • Nothing

Hand tool box wrenches

Requires an additional set of box wrenches. This item comes in a plain white plastic bag with a SATA label. The wrenches themselves don't reveal where they're made, but the small letter on the SATA label says "Made in China". It appears that the manufacturer of the instrument doesn't state the country of origin unless it's proudly made in the USA. Anyway these buttons are fine, they work. The Sata label states a lifetime warranty.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Terrible - workmanship is very poor

As anyone who needs to use these tools knows you need tools that fit snugly and have very little "play" to get a good grip and brake not to round off Mother - Well, that's not it. There was so much space/play between the tool and the nuts that when it came time to finish the job, he simply rounded the nuts. My regular key worked better than this one. 10mm was probably 10.5 or even 11mm. Maybe it's too late for me to go back, but I'll try. Finally - I have no idea how Revain has such high…

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Concise instructions

Wrenches don't fit like they should

When I saw the name Sata I thought of the Sata spray guns used in body shops. They are made in Germany and are one of the best spray guns on the market. I thought these keys were made by the same company and were of the same quality. Boy was I wrong. The keys must sit firmly on the fitting. You want maximum contact so you don't round the fitting edges when handling frozen fittings. These buttons are 0.5 mm larger. Wrenches for 10 and 12 mm fit the same as for 10.5 and 12.5 mm.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • unreliable

Excellent wrenches and handy method of sizing

These are great for brake lines etc as you will know if you look for swivel wrenches. "obviously" different sizes at both ends. For example 10mm on one side and 12mm on the other side. If one was 10mm and the other 11mm I wouldn't know which way the key is, but this way it's obvious that the larger side is much larger. Saves time. I'm not saying they skip sizes - they have everything from 9mm to 14mm - but it's organized in a way that makes sense. Good job SATA.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Impressive quality, excellent value for money box wrenches!

After rounding off brake and fuel line nuts in over 40 years of auto repair experience, I finally started looking for a flare and wrench set. I'm obsessed with "Made in the USA" but these days it's almost impossible to find without buying a tool that's only used occasionally, so I've broadened my search to include imports. I've heard good things about SATA tools, so I ordered them. These polished hand tools worked great on the fuel and brake lines on my recent Jeep project. I would recommend…

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long lead time

WOW, yes. How is the company doing this?

First of all I am very happy with these keys - Very nice finish and THICK HEADS, something that every "cheap" inline key I own lacks. I'm sure they fit snugly and most importantly DO NOT ALTERNATE. Except as MANY others here have pointed out; THEY SENT THE METRICS WHEN I ORDERED THE SAE. Who is in this shop? This puts me in a difficult position because I had to count on them for work tomorrow morning, but I was already planning on buying a bunch of metrics. AFTER. :/ So not sure how to proceed,

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Slightly torn
