Very very disappointed!

Very very disappointed! It took a week for it to get to me. Delivered with broken muffler pipe and blue adjuster pipe, cracks on the body. And the worst thing is that there isn't even an impeller in the box! Do I have to pay extra for the wheel?!?! I bought this product based on all the good reviews on here. I've researched some forums and watched a few YouTube videos, but I think I missed a very important statement that was made in a few places: This is probably the best skimmer IN THIS PRICE…

Happy to verify the information after several hours of research!

I was hesitant to buy a skimmer under $200. This was set up within a few days and started slipping an hour after it was connected. The bubbles are very small and the skimmer creates a wall of white, frothy microbubbles all over the skimmer. My original plans were to buy a Reef Octopus or something similar. After several hours of research. I can say that I bought the right skimmer for me. My tank is 125 liters with a 55 gallon sump. This skimmer requires approximately 11 inches of clearance to…

Great product at the best price!

I was very happy with this skimmer. I bought another skimmer many years ago and didn't have much success with it, but at this price I was willing to try this one. I purchased this product to use in a 180 gallon saltwater aquarium. When it arrived the first thing I thought was that it looked well put together and was a quality product. The second thing I noticed is that there are absolutely no instructions on how to set it up or set it up. The setup was easy to understand. The construction took…

This skimmer is ridiculous!

The skimmer is fun! Beginning foaming within the first 12 hours. I had to touch it up a bit and adjust the water level in the swamp, but it filled up in less than a week. I have to empty the drip tray about twice a week because it pulls so much unpleasant stuff out of the water that it just gets disgusting in the cup. It makes me sick to think that all that crap used to stay in the water column with my fish and coral. Works absolutely silently with or without a silencer. If you are looking for…

Good skimmer for the price but not worth 180 gallons.

Made from a large dollar skimmer (Super Reef Octopus) in my 180 gallon aquarium, this thing looks like a toy magician. There is no way it can be rated at 180 gallons. But for 100th it is quite possible. He is currently working on a 66 gallon reef with 30 gallons of water in the sump. after a few days of running it really starts to pull the dirt out of the water. Mud builds up in my throat, as was the case with my SRO. I'm still working on turning this into a dark brown skimmate. I've owned it…

So far so good.: Fish & Aquatic Pets

I replaced the Reef Octopus 150 INT, the original version that you won't see for sale in many places anymore. It has a huge footprint because it has a huge external pump that lies flat on the floor in front of it. I thought it was broken, but it turned out that there were only pieces of a plastic bag stuck inside the impeller. I bought this in a panic because I won't be able to operate my pool without a skimmer for much longer, a few days have already made me nervous. Of course, the price of…
