Schlage 698B26D One Way Angle Viewer Review

Good field of vision. Easy installation after reading the instructions. Had to take it off to paint the door - easy to take off and put back on.

Easy install is a plus. The downside is that I had to buy a custom-sized drill bit, which cost $12 at the hardware store. The hardware store sells peepholes that used standard size drill bits for $6 to $10.

It took 90 seconds to measure, mark, drill and install. The field of view allows you to see packages leaning against the door and even a small child being ordered to hide out of sight. It also looks great.

Great for the price very easy to install the only bad thing I can say is that when it gets bright light or the sun the optics have quite a bit of glare around them Lens that interferes with the view, otherwise perfect!

I bought this hoping it would be better than most I've reviewed. It met my expectations and was great when I first put it on (wide angle, very clear). Unfortunately, now a month later, it's sweaty and hard to see. I hope he fixes himself, but not yet.

I was rather skeptical about buying a peephole. It's hard to look at the picture and then envision it in your door (because the picture makes it look like it's quite large. This product looks great on either side of the door and then the viewing angle through it is amazing! It has no blind spots I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a peep hole.

A great upgrade over the stock viewer than with a door! The view is very clear and at my door I can actually see if the package is leaning against the door (when I'm too lazy to just open the door and look! ;) As always when you have a peephole, measure first and Check the answers before ordering, but if you don't have one, this is a great, inexpensive way to increase your home's visibility. Look back but you can see the light coming back and it doesn't have a lid to keep it dark all the time…
