I was very happy when I first bought this lock. My room had a lever but no lock so I decided to buy one. My door started opening when it was locked in October after I bought it in August. If I lock it from the inside, I hold the lever from the outside for a minute to open the door. Moving the lever multiple times will also unlock it.
