Schumacher Fully Automatic Battery Maintainer: 1.5 Amp, 6/12V - Ideal for Car, Power Sport, and Marine Batteries Review

I've bought several different chargers over the years, some work for a while and then stop working. I noticed that one of them kept working on all my batteries so I decided to buy the Schumacher brand again. So far so good and works with all my batteries with all different brands of adapters.

Schumacher, I have three different current levels now, the battery or the device has never failed or been damaged. All of them are easy to use and have good protection and security features. Not the cheapest but worth the money, I need to be able to rely on my charger when connecting to expensive batteries/devices.

I bought this for my new alternator battery. The manufacturer of the generator has stated that only a 1.5A maintainer can be used (I don't know why - but I don't doubt such things :-). Easy installation with clips on the battery terminals - plug in; lights up to let you know it's doing its job. Works for several months - no problems.

I have 4 battery conditioners and they all have a green light on BRIGHT and then dimmed. But the 5th one I just bought has the GREEN light on all the time. I called support and they said mico chip? hasn't been used but don't worry it won't charge my battery. I sent one back and the replacement is the same.

is the best. Absolutely reliable. The green light is on when it should be. Yellow if it should be. Never fails or breaks. However, the price has skyrocketed lately. I would love to buy more but will wait for the price to drop. No more than $40. Just a few years ago they could be bought for as little as $24. There must be a problem with demand.
