Well. there is ice and snow on the alaska trail 😁. so i bought a studded tire and tried it out on my swen tricycle.🤗👍. it works great for me. and I am 65 years old 😅 thank you

These are good tires but damn difficult to mount. The bead has no flex, I had to use a metal screwdriver to get the bead in after breaking 2 or 3 tire arms. I've changed a lot of practice tires before, which were also pretty rough, but this one is way better than all the others. So if you're running them as winter tires, be sure to use sealant and get a second set of rims that you won't want to change again.

Bought a pair of these for my winter commuter bike. I drive 7 miles one way across Pittsburgh to get to work and I needed something that would allow me to safely navigate snowy and icy roads. Today I mounted these 26 x 1.75 tires and drove them 12 miles. Conditions ranged from smooth ice to densely packed snow on the ice and bare road. The ride began up a steep hill on a quiet country road that quickly turned to bare ice and snow on the ice as the road was shaded by trees. Stepping onto the ice from a bare road for the first time was pretty scary. I focused on smooth entry and balance for fear of slipping as the road has a sharp turn and I was going uphill.
