Good chain for the money.

I bought this as a direct replacement for the chain on my Schwinn bike. I desperately needed to buy a chain tool, but I found it here at Revain for a relatively low price. With the right tool, the chain can be placed on the bike and mounted in just a few minutes. So far the chain is working perfectly. I don't mountain bike off-road and don't ride more than 20 miles at a time, so I can't say if this network is suitable for this purpose. But for the average Joe just biking around the neighborhood

If you don't need a main link, great.

Looks like a good chain but I'm not very good at circuit breakers so I accidentally broke the circuit breaker when trying to assemble it. I accidentally ordered this chain, not knowing that Schwinn is one of the few companies that doesn't use a master link in their chains and requires you to use a chain tool to install your chain. There are detailed instructions.

There are tutorials on YouTube and other sites. Thousands of bike experts share their knowledge so you can choose and install the right chain. The solution to any bicycle problem is easy to find thanks to the Internet. Once you have your chain installed, you can learn whatever you want. I like this type of chain because my poorly made $5 chain tool works with it. I can take pieces of worn chains and make very long worn chains to order. I also like these chains because I'm familiar with them and

Manufacturer openly lies about connecting chain

This review is directed to the manufacturer (Pacific Cycle) and not the seller as the incorrect description is written directly on the packaging. The box shows the steps to assemble the chain and shows a picture of a regular pin almost fully extended, labeled the "Master Link". This isn't the main link, and screwing this pin in with a chain tool creates what techs call a 'hard link'. If you follow the steps on the box and you break the chain, derailleur or suspension, good luck filing a…
