Amazing product for cycling

Great product, very well made Took a few minutes to assemble. Love the fact that all of the Carter pens are tied so you can't lose them. I have a bike rack mounted on my roof so I can tow it behind my scooter as I don't drive a car this makes it easier for me and less dependent on friends. First solo ride today, everything works very well

Perfect Cargo Hauler

This Day Tripper cargo trailer is easy to install and lightweight. The construction is strong. The bike rack was easy to assemble. This is the same mount that came with the Schwinn Rascal pet bag (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N4RO2F4/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1). Note. Wheel axles are slightly longer. than the Rascal, so the wheels are not interchangeable. I have goats on my trails so I upgraded the tubes and tires on this trailer and my Rascal. Tires…

Great opportunity for shopping!

I bought this trailer a while ago and haven't used it to date. First let me say that it totally exceeded my expectations! I used a Radrunner electric bike to tow it and went to Walmart. Bought some groceries including several bags of water. It was pretty busy! The trailer is surprisingly stable even at over 20 km/h! I would say that the Radrunner bike comes with mini fat tires so it's much more stable than a regular bike. This thing handles bumps very well and turning was very easy. It tends to

Good for short rides, bad for steep climbs

I took this trailer on a two day, 140 mile bike trail up the Oregon coast after a few much smaller test rides. Instructions I've probably seen before. - Nice compact trailer - Tight-fitting lid means no items lost while driving - No mechanical issues while driving - Easily folds for storage. The Bad: - The weight of the trailer was really noticeable on the steep passes. I think adding a paneer rack to my road bike would be much better. - I've always been concerned about the width of the trailer

Useful pendant

Excellent pendant. As others have said, I wish it was a little bigger. I use it in the cinema. I've tried carrying two "bank boxes" side by side, but they're too small for that, and stacking can raise the center of gravity too much. I was carrying two 5 gallon water bottles (83 pounds total) and you can feel the water sloshing and the bottles sliding around you - it pushes you back and forth a bit. The biggest thing I've ever pulled on a trailer was an empty Great Dane kennel. Luckily the…

Saved by Schwinn: Cycling

A change of plans forced me to get creative. I had an archery shoot in New Mexico where motorized vehicles were banned. My destination was 3.5 miles from my truck. A third of the ride was through unkempt woods along a barbed wire fence, and the rest of each ride was on sandy or hard-packed gravel roads. I have overloaded the trailer many times without considering the weight. At one point one of the trailer tires drove me straight onto a fully grown cactus. I abused the trailer, it wasn't…

Just a big problem, but I figured it out.

For the most part this trailer is a really good product. It's light, easy to tow and can hold more cargo than I expected. I have yet to get the full 110 pounds out, but I was able to get out two 5 gallon water bottles very easily. Make sure that there is enough air in the tires, because that is what matters under heavy loads. However, there are a few things that could make it better. First of all, the nylon tarpaulin used as a cover needs to be slightly larger so that it can easily support…

Great cargo trailer, cheap wheels

I was looking for a sales trailer and settled on the Schwinn DayTripper. The value for money is simply unbeatable and I've been looking for a long time. Delivery was quick with no excessive packaging. Assembled in a few minutes and fully understood without even taking a look at the manual (which, after studying it, describes everything very well). That pretty much speaks for itself. All in all, this is a great trailer. Well built and strong, the folding frame snaps into place and the struts…

Very cool and cute!

Nice little pendant, very cute, looks cool in public, no shame. The tires will not fold or fold, you need to loosen the shaft pins and then remove them for storage. But it's pretty easy to do. But it's pretty small, so I just leave it on wheels and put it in the corner of the guest room. It's really not the type to stay out in the rain because it has a good tarpaulin. The Schwinn logo looks great on canvas and goes well with my Schwinn touring bike. The top cap is very tight, too tight for me…

Pros
  • High score for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
