There is a right way to put them on.

Okay, I noticed that a lot of people said it broke on first use. Now let me tell you that there is a right way and a wrong way to put them on. Put it on, and when it starts shedding threads, stop the motor, take it off, and flip it over. There the winding is not like a wool wheel, anyway it works the same way. So what if it ripped you off. I have got it wrong. It's like a roll of toilet paper, you twist it one way, it unfolds, you twist it the other way and it shrinks. The same concept. I feel…

Disconnect and make a huge mess.

First, despite the opinion of some reviewers, it doesn't matter how you install them - they break and lose. fall apart every time you turn them, before you even try to polish anything. They look good until you try to use them. The cotton cover is unraveling and the insides are turning into flying dryer lint. It's like trying to polish a cotton ball held together with yarn. They don't take polish and throw dental floss everywhere, including up their noses. They're just not sewn tight enough or…

Falls apart with use

I polished 6 knives once. I chose 5 knives because too much of the buffer plate was falling apart. I simply applied some polishing paste and pressed the knives against the disc with medium pressure. I have a low powered bench grinder and it stalls when I use a lot of force. i have two things 1. There was a lot of staple and thread in my garage. I've worn the wheel down by at least a third. The other thing I got was often shocked. The crushed buffer wheel was worn and the scuffs rubbed against…

It was a waste of money

I have restored the hardware on 2 built in wardrobes in our dining room. I felt like my old buff was nearing the end of its life after completing 1 kit, so I came to Revain to look for a replacement. I bought 2 packs of these wheels and installed one to complete my newest set up. I have never had a polishing pad like this as you can see in the photos. I gave him a few minutes hoping the hair fall would subside but he continued to scatter the threads all over the place. I suspect that the rapid…

He comes back. - Hand and Power Tools

I was keen to use this buffing pad as it suited my needs. At first I was okay with how many fibers and loose threads it shed, thinking it would wear out over time. The sad thing is that it just kept falling off and I found the big problem that the super thin loose fibers it shed covered the entire area of my store. I am not new to the polishing process and have been working for over 25 years, this super fine fibre, fluffy and covering everything is exceptional. I recommend anyone considering…
