Very bright dive light

I ordered two of these and they are very bright, both survived 40ft dives but one of the lights did not charge but the customer service is excellent and they provide two free replacement batteries.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Clarity

Damn bright for the price

Not sure if it really is 3000 lumens but definitely brighter than my current 1000 lumen dive light but 3 times brighter. If this underwater flashlight stands the test of time, its value for money is pretty good. The rotary mode switch looks cheap, we'll see how it holds up. Next month I'm going to go scuba diving in Hawaii and see how it works underwater.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Not as bright as advertised but still pretty bright

photos taken to show lighting comparison. Left: Genwiss spotlight 3000 lumens, right: Wurkkos spotlight 2000 lumens. They appear to be about the same brightness, although Genwiss should be 50% brighter. Genwiss looks a bit whiter and Wurkkos looks a bit more yellow. Genwiss has a 2000 mAh battery, Wurkkos has a 3000 mAh battery. I charged the batteries and even switched between flashes. It does not matter. Both feel well made.

Water Leak! Be sure to tighten up! Good customer service.

Bought two of these. I love the ease of use and the build quality. But both lights leaked and were damaged on the first dive. The depth was only 30 feet. Of course, I didn't tighten them as tightly as I could, but I did tighten them as much as seemed reasonable. The two O-rings seemed to provide a good seal, but not good enough in my opinion. Edit: I was contacted by a seller who offered to refund my money if I edit or delete this review. I declined because I think people should know the…

Very bright and worth the money.

I love light. It is well made and feels good in the hand. The aluminum body feels solid. I like that it uses 18650 lithium batteries which are affordable. Switching on/off and adjusting the brightness can be done with one hand, which is convenient when diving. It also has a pre-programmed SOS function which I like as I will be kayaking in remote areas. The light is wickedly bright and will easily give a signal for help from a great distance. Haven't been able to dive much yet but will keep my…

Amazing light. Most of the time it stays waterproof

I've had three of these lights for night diving in South Florida. They are exceptionally bright and the magnetic switch is easy to operate even when wearing gloves. The battery life is long enough with high power for the entire dive. The only problem is after 20-30 dives 2 out of 3 headlights are flooded. The seller was quick to respond to this issue and sent me two new lights prior to this weekend's dive which worked fine. During the first morning dive one light started to fail and eventually…

You get what you paid for.

I have a dive shop and wanted to compare it to the more expensive end product we were selling. I dived with this light on a shallow 40ft fresh water dive. The first thing that struck me was that the switch was very light and easy to toggle. Every time it rubbed against your gear, it turned on. I personally don't like it. After about 25 minutes in the water, the light dropped to about 1% off charge and on medium settings. After the dive I noticed moisture in the light. I did not lubricate the…

Amazing little light!

I used these (I bought 2) for some of my training dives (for my DM certification) at our quarry/lake last weekend. The lake here (at Windy Point) is known for having 2 to 4 foot visibility over 65 feet. The silt is so heavy that a white scenario is almost guaranteed. and dark, like SUPER dark (at 30 feet, ie goes to 0 with no light). With that in mind, I wanted the spot beam to run for at least 1.5 hours. a flood beam would just bounce off any sediment in the water and blind me. They come with…
