💡 Enhanced Visibility with SeaSense Super Bright LED Surface Mount Interior Light Review

I installed these in the cockpit of my boat about a year ago. They still work great. Decent light output. You look good. No complaints.

A lot of people say they aren't very bright but depending on what you use them for they are quite bright. I have one fitted to my VW Westfalia and it's almost too bright. If you try to light up a garage they might not be enough, but for an RV they would be enough.

I just got some of these lights to replace the 12V DC bulbs in my boat. The light output is about the same, although this LED gives a whiter light. The current consumption on the old device was 0.75 A at 12 VDC. This new LED light draws only 0.09 amps, which is about 1/8 the current. The lamp is small, so a new mounting base is required in my case. I am very happy with this update.

I bought this to use as a wired night light in my RV bathroom. It was very easy to install and I plugged it directly into the bathroom wall switch. I originally gave this only 2 stars but after reading all the positive reviews I looked again at my wiring and realized I had wired it wrong. Although the description of this product is correct (in terms of size) it is smaller than I expected. This isn't a blow to the product, I just expected a little more. At the same time, it gives off an excellent amount of light for its size. It's designed for interior lighting or supplemental lighting in the cabin, which means it must produce enough light to see what you're doing without glare or obstructing your field of vision. These lights are advertised as accent lights, but I use them as zone lights on my 24ft sailboat. They should be installed where you need light. I installed three lights: one above the galley, one above the dining table and one above the reading area of the double forward bunk with a headboard below. We bought a new Class C motorhome on a converted Ford E-450 chassis. Bought these for my 26ft boat. 5 pieces installed. 2 in the cabin, one above the daybed in the port saloon, 1 above the galley on the port side and one above the daybed in the saloon on the starboard side. The light is very white, which I like, and very bright, which I also like. The light spreads well and with my white interior with blue trim the interior looks great.
