I just sent this back because it unfortunately did not fit my mixed pup. No fault of the seller, the muzzle looks and feels real sturdy, no sharp wire spots, good leather that doesn't feel dry or stiff. My dog's some weird pit/boxer/shepherd mix and going by the measurements I thought this would fit her, but nope. Guess I'll have to look around in-store so we can try it on first.

The quality was good. But my dog pulled it right off. Within seconds, she used her paw and it slipped right off. I returned because I needed this for safety reasons. It can not provide safety if it doesnt stay on her securely.

I tried 7 muzzles for my GSP, everything snout stot or too large. This is only one fit right for my GSP who weighted 63lbs. Thanks for attention!

I have a Doberman who of course loves to chew on everything expensive. I bought other items that she chewed through. This has held up on that end so far. Beware it is metal and my dog like to "nose” you for attention, especially now she has this contraption on her head. It hurts a little. Small trade off to save my work boots, kids school shoes, and wife’s comforters. If you have these issues buy it now.

The top strap that goes over the head snapped within 10 minutes of my dog pulling on it.Easy to put on and the metal is sturdy, but the straps are too weak.

Used in a greyhound cross that’s larger than a regular hound. Previously could escape his cone. Combined with a cone, meant he couldn’t eat his cone nor tear his stitches.

One improvement could be if there was a way to clip the back of the muzzle to the dogs harness or collar. Dogs without much indentation from neck to skull, or small ears, may be able to push it off.

Using this on my 3 month old Aussie. I had to bend the cheek guard wider bcs it was irritating her skin. Now they are perfect.

It has been great for our 1 year old GS. I double up on the neck collar attaching it to her regular collar because she can, if she tries hard enough, pull it off, but not so much with the larger collar attached to it also.

We bought this for our female Doberman mix who is a bit small, but has gotten to be a bit over protective of us. The cradle fits her snout a bit to big, but once we're got the straps adjusted she can see and just had to get used to having a cage over her mouth. Now when she tries to go after another dog or a person she can't bite them and only bangs her cage on them. People just have to keep fingers away from the cage/muzzle. Glad we purchased this and I would recommend to anyone who is worried

This is a very sturdy product that has given me great comfort in helping me socialize my new rescue dog who is reactive towards other dogs. Our German shorthair Is a biter , scared to death of men so when people come over I constantly have to keep him away from people. This muzzle is the only one that he can’t get off. His behavior changes immediately. Very very sturdy and dependable! Thank you!

Not really big enough for a Doberman. He keeps getting it off and constantly fights it, unlike another muzzle we bought, which rubbed a sore between his eyes. The search for a decent muzzle continues.

Seems to be well made. However I measured my dog as they said… the nose piece fits well however the collar part that goes around the head and the nose strap length piece are both to short! I’m very disappointed they make this muzzle for a larger dog with such a small neck piece. Was purchased for a Doberman that’s weighing in at 80-100 lbs.
