Alarm clock sound is shrill and good. The problem is that there is no delay when moving the device, so you can't disarm it without the alarm going off. This annoys and worries the neighbors. I contacted the company and they had no solution.

When I ordered them I was afraid of false alarms. They work but they are not sensitive enough to work when there is nothing there. Nobody likes false alarms! I use them on my boat to deter thieves. I've intentionally hit my boat a few times as an bystander might and it didn't work. If you're really trying to steal something, they work every time.

They are perfect for travel doors. We have a toddler and currently live in a house with a pool so they give us extra protection. They are very sensitive so adjusting them without turning them off is a little tricky, if they move at all they work - I wish they were a little less sensitive. But other than that they are great and we will take them with us every time we travel with our kid!

Bought these to teach my golden pup not to steal my kitchen towels hanging over the sink. Sensitive, VERY loud alarm. He grabbed a towel and turned on an insanely loud alarm clock. Didn't even take the towel off the hook and try again. I left it there for a few more weeks and then took it with me. He never tried again! This is after months of training! Feels good and works well. Recently used on our log home front door on a short vacation trip to Big Bear in case of sneaky burglars or bears. The product works but putting batteries in the device can be a problem until you get the hang of it. They sit very tight. Although the instructions explain how to adjust the sensitivity level (volume) of the alarm settings, the volume sounds the same on the ones sent to me.
