I just switched from tile floors in my house to carpet in my apartment. I put them on all my dining room chairs. Table legs etc. They made it easy to move the furniture around for a perfect fit. I highly recommend them in any size.

I bought many types of glides to see what would work best for our new tile floors. These blew everything else away. They glide almost like ice. I can't speak for their durability but even if they don't have a particularly long life I'm happy to replace them for the price. I have them attached to all the chairs in my house.

I've used a leading brand in the past so I decided to try and save some money. Bad choice on my part, but I still think it's worth trying. If you have something like a chair that moves a lot, this article is not for you. If you want it to move a little - or not often - this should work.

When we first put them on our dining chairs they worked great. The plastic appears to be of good quality. The chairs glided very smoothly across our low carpet. However, they fall off their feet after a few weeks. The supplied double-sided tape is not suitable for this price. I will try to stick them on the chairs with a different glue but I will not buy them again.

This has happened to me before and I should know better now. They would provide some gliding on the carpet. After about 5 minutes they climbed onto the chair leg. I pulled out the glue (and some of the fluff that comes with it) and used some double sided tape left over from some LED strips I had installed and "Bam!" it worked. However, I didn't have to reverse engineer anything to get this to work. Hence the two stars.

I installed them on four dining room chairs a few days before Thanksgiving because the chairs didn't slide easily on the carpet and left small marks when moved. One was taken the day after Thanksgiving and the other yesterday. I don't really care and I'll reapply them with Gorilla Glue. Chairs used to have felt pads on the underside of the legs and I couldn't get all the pieces of felt off - maybe it had something to do with them coming loose. I live in a rented room, carpet in the dining room. The fact that the chairs got caught in the carpet every time we moved them away or closer to the table bothered me because I didn't want to damage the carpet. So I got these cushions and now my chairs never get stuck again! Also, they match the chairs perfectly and are almost invisible as they match the color of my rug. I also have to say the customer service was fantastic: when I ordered these pads there were 23 pads in the pack instead of 24

I really wanted this product to work but unfortunately even after limited use on the chairs in my cabin these slats did NOT stick to the underside of my wooden chair legs. See photo. Now I'm looking for a glide pad that either nails or screws onto the underside of a chair leg. But the downside of a more permanent mechanical attachment is the possibility that you can split the wood. We have a very heavy table with two chairs and two benches. It's perfect for our family, but if we had a tornado to destroy the house I swear this set would still be where we left it!
