Not quite what I expected

I haven't had this brand or any other before. It's not quite what I expected, especially for the money. The intercom seemed to work well, but I also planned on using it for more than that. Open Mesh didn't work very well, even when riding right behind another bike. The range is terrible and nothing even remotely advertised as 1+ miles or anything. Everything was mostly fine within 50 meters, but it still broke a little. It was even worse when we tried to connect 3 or 4 bikes with 2 riders each.

Too quiet! - Motorbike & Powersports

I have had a Sena SMH 10 for many years and have really liked it. Features have been simplified, which is great considering when it was released. and the sound quality was great. I could listen to audio books and music, converse with my fellow racers while listening to the sound of several different Harleys (each probably too loud). They have great updated features and they all work great. My biggest complaint is that no matter what the system is too quiet. I turned the volume up all the way on

SENA50C. It takes a lot of work. REVIEW UPDATED JULY 2021.

I've been using Sena before the USB SMH10. I have spent thousands of hours using their devices. I currently have 2 10S units, 2 20S EVO units (with Sena HD speakers), 2 Cavalry half helmets and 2 SR10 bluetooth adapters. All my Sena devices have the latest firmware. Both 50S devices were taken right out of the box, updated to firmware version 1.0.6 and fully charged. Error reset and factory reset was performed after the firmware update. Test conditions.* Devices were installed in HJC i90…

Great unit. Deserves special attention.

I had headphones from Sena and Cardo. It deserves first place in the rating. Pros: Physical Interface: The wheel and buttons feel great and are easy to find. Definitely better than the little buttons on Cardo. Not that you need to touch it anymore as the voice commands are very good now. Voice commands: Hello Sena. "Paste Command Here" works as advertised and does pretty much anything you want it to do. I'd rate the voice commands a little higher than the Cardo, and that's saying something (no…

It could be better. in Accessories

Bought to replace 20S. The big plus for me was the mesh technology and the fact that it fits on the same base unit as the 20S. I have two helmets that I work between, so I put the new base unit on the helmet I use the most and the base unit from the 20's on the other. my. This is how I get the best sound and take advantage of noise reduction in my opinion. The speakers on the 20S were crap. I gave the Sena 50S a total of 3 stars because of the "buggy". Pros: The sound quality of the mesh…
