Don't get me wrong, this device does what it's supposed to and does it very well. If I were a solo rider it would be five stars. We are relatively new to the motorcycling world - only 2 years old. I have studied countless reviews of countless headsets and based on my findings I have decided on the Sena smh10D-10. They arrived quickly! They were beautifully packaged! Installing them was a nightmare. Nowhere in my research have I seen that they cannot be mounted on half helmets with the included headset mount. In fact, the box shows their images installed on helmet types EXCEPT for half helmets. I didn't read that anywhere
