Easy to use PH test

I like this test for its ease of use and I believe that Sera is one of the best manufacturers for our hobby. The results are easy to read, but the problem arises when trying to compare the tube color to the chart. Of course, this is also a problem with other liquid test kits.

Most accurate liquid pH kit I've ever used

Most accurate liquid pH kit I've ever used. Colors are easier to read than API and the reagent does not stain as easily. The test tube is great - you'll find that it excites you more than the actual testing. Bonus: Reads much lower and much higher score than API or other options on the market. This is particularly useful for keeping freshwater dwarf shrimp.

not good enough for a saltwater reef aquarium

The acceptable pH level in a simple marine water system containing only fish is 7.6 to 8.4, but reef aquariums are more sensitive and need to be maintained on a higher pH scale of 8.0 to be held until 8.4. This test set has a level of 0.5 on the Color Reference Chart. .
