These knives are simply the best. They are sturdy and very sharp. My husband actually cut his finger without realizing when we received them. They want to make sure you're careful, but they're fine. We bought 4 knives of different sizes and we liked each one.

The knife came very sharp from the factory. It has a very good weight which makes cutting very easy. Almost as easy to cut as warm butter. The only drawback is the handle length. It's a total smell, but it really could use at least an extra inch. I'm not sure if this knife is suitable for a man's hand.

After reading all the top reviews about it it seemed like a good buy but it wasn't. The knife is heavy, which is nice, but it turned out to be very dull. I was hoping I could use it right away, but he couldn't even cut a tomato without crushing it. Mine was covered in oil and the paint was scratched. Probably the worst thing I've ever bought from Amazon.

I am satisfied with this chef's knife - it will handle any meat in the kitchen. All of this is perfect for slicing fruits and veggies (although it's bigger and bolder). The handle is made of smooth wood. The knife is even better than I expected but needs a sheath for storage. This is my only recommendation for keeping this knife looking new and not digging your hands in the drawer (except for the wooden knife block).

So I bought this knife to upgrade some of the knives I currently use, firstly the knife is unbalanced because the manufacturer claims the handle is heavier, secondly the blade isn't that sharp and whatever it is, that dirty crap they've painted on the top of the blade doesn't come off with common solvents like paint thinner after hand washing the knife once and a couple of times air dried. Rust stains appeared through the black painted area of the knife, which I clearly wasn't expecting.
