🚴 Enhanced Performance Saddle for Men by Serfas RX Review

I bought this in October 2020 and used it for a while until it got cold. I thought maybe it just takes time to get used to. Not at all. I rode my bike 13 miles the other day and was miserable for more than half of the way, as well as severe lower half pain. The seat is good but not suitable for guys over 200lbs.

About 30 hours on the Autobahn, I'll pass on my observations. It's well made and will definitely last a long time. It's firm but gives a little; Bumps on the pavement are less noticeable. Being a bit wider than the original seat I used, it suits my sit muscles better, but of course that's relative to me. And the good thing is that there is no pressure on the softer parts. Luckily I have less PRSB (Post-Ride Inflammation of the Butt).

I'm old and tired but my daughter loves to ride her bike around. While my old seat was "comfortable," it always left me numb even after 20 minutes of driving. I have ridden this seat many times and no sign of numbness. A bit narrower overall, but the cushioning gel doesn't make it any worse, after the first few minutes I actually find it *more comfortable*, even if it's a bit narrower. 👍👍 Two thumbs up.

After about 12 miles on my hybrid and road bike I had a problem with constant pressure on my sit bones. I have tried other saddles from the bike manufacturer and encountered the same problem. After going to a great bike shop nearby and getting a bike fit, this saddle was the most comfortable and now I have to go home during the ride because it's so comfortable. I would recommend this saddle to anyone who has the same problem as me.

Just before everything was closed we hopped on the Peloton train. We're both tall people, so traditional seats are pretty awful for us. My friend has the exact same seat on his bike and I had another one that seemed more comfortable but it wasn't. Eating is understandable. We chose this chair and we are very happy about it! It is very important! *Note* - Your butt will hurt the first few rides, but over time you'll thank yourself very much!

I often ride my hybrid bike on bad roads. (I live in Wyoming. Hey, we get that here.) I got this saddle because my bike came with a saddle that hurt my sit bones (you know, your "sit bones"), and it wasn't gentle to my reproductive function. Organs too (you know, yours. yeah.) Great bone padding and a deep channel so other things don't wobble down there. Not the cheapest saddle, nor the most expensive, but I've ridden washboards a few hundred miles and it's the real deal. This is the third one I have bought. First for my bike, then for my new bike, then for my wife's bike. Excellent comfort. Just make sure you pay attention and make SMALL adjustments to it. Pay attention to the markings on the rails. Try going back 3-5mm and then ride for a while. I recently had to take it off for a long drive to a country race. I ordered Lycra but received microfiber (no complaints here). This is a huge improvement over my stock unpadded leather mountain bike saddle, which was causing me pain after just a few minutes of riding. Since installing this saddle I have ridden several times for 30 minutes with no pain or numbness. After that time I would definitely experience pain and possibly numbness with my previous saddle. This is definitely an improvement over the seat I got when I originally bought the bike (it's not a cheap bike). I would call it a work seat that you would use for long rides and want to benefit from a much more comfortable and breathable seat than your racing boards. At the same time, it does not distract from the active type or sporty driving.
