Description of πŸš€ Unleash Performance with Pace Setter 70-1191 Black Exhaust Header

CNC-machined, port-matched thick steel flanges provide postive seal at the head and unrestriced flow into the primary tubes. All tubing is mandrel-bent, 16-gauge carbon steel for excellent durability. Available with standard black paint finish or optional ARMOR*Coat metallic ceramic coating. Unsurpassed fit and easy to install with basic skills. Gaskets included.

Poor quality control

Didn't fit. The bypass tube meets the AX-15 transmission bell jar and prevents it from seating properly on the down tubes of the header.

Good emissions product

Installation was fine. The only reason for 4 stars. The collector got up without any problems. I had transmission problems. Pacesetter quickly fixed the problem. Overall a good product. I would recommend this to other 4.0 liter jeep owners. But be careful, it needs some modifications to fit. Good sound. Small power.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

never mind No need to figure out how to adapt it to an old Renix 4.0s

The EGR connector was too deep for a standard EGR torch to close. And sliding hardware is a hassle to remove or work with. All the washers that came with it were off center. It costs money for what they're charging, but it could be better designed for the gap where it crosses under the engine from the driver's side to the passenger's side. This may interfere with the skid plates made for my jeep.

Pros
  • . Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Do not buy this product

The product does not fit, poor workmanship. I bought this product through Revain, installed the product he had taped over only to find the manifold didn't fit. I was told that since I bought it through Revain I would have to completely disassemble the engine component and send it back to the manufacturer to get a working part. As you can see in the photo the header is a separate piece from the header. Do not buy this item!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • old

1988 Jeep Cherokee Renix

Fits most. I had to slightly undercut the rear two bottom lugs of the intake manifold and make a recess on one of the intake manifolds. The O2 sensor is close to the transmitter but doable, just needs to be lengthened. I want to read the instructions first as the EGR connector needs to be drilled out if you want to hook up to the emissions. And the EGR pipe needs to be bent and straightened. A bottom screw must be installed on the inlet first or have a right angle extension. I couldn't just do…

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Upgrades
