Description of SGT KNOTS Twisted Anchor Thimble

NYLON ANCHOR ROPE - A heavy-duty, twisted nylon anchor line designed for any sized boat. Compatible with a wide range of anchor rode setups, mooring setups, or other configurations. Equipped with a firmly spliced steel thimble for convenient looping and tying off to anchor, shackle, dock, and more. SYNTHETIC STRENGTH - Our professionally crafted nylon mooring line is built by coiling together three separate strands of high-quality nylon. The result is a sturdy and balanced rope resistant to kinking and distortion. Nylon is flexible, with a slight stretch to provide extra shock absorption under heavy load exertion. High-tensile strength and excellent knot retention ensure our rope will remain tight and secure on large boats and in choppy weather. LONG LIFESPAN - Smooth nylon fibers are incredibly resistant to all the elements your anchor line will face, including extreme weather conditions, abrasion, sunlight / UV degradation, moisture, and chemicals. Submersion in water will not affect strength, flexibility, or structural integrity. A well-maintained 3 strand nylon dock-line can last for decades, much longer than natural rope fibers like cotton or manila. LENGTH / WIDTH / COLOR - Choose between pre-cut lengths of 100 feet, 150 feet, and 200 feet. SGT KNOTS Twisted Nylon Anchor Rope / Mooring Line / Dock Rope diameter thickness options: 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch. Available in White. VETERAN OWNED and OPERATED - Twisted 3 Strand Nylon Anchor Line made in the USA. Just like the Marine Corps, SGT KNOTS is committed to being the best of the best. We continue to live by the motto, Semper Fidelis—Always Faithful. Our loyalty to our customers is what makes us who we are, and the reason we continue to grow in popularity and product offerings. Sloppy workmanship of mooring lines and rope

Good heavy duty rope to the end where the metal eyelet is. Very sloppy work in this regard. Wears out and falls apart right out of the box. If possible, it must be repaired or cut out entirely. Definitely won't buy this again.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Requires socket

Check all ropes before deciding to keep them

The rope is a decent rope for the price. I only hope that the replacement rope is free from frays and defects. Also, I'm not happy about having to make a special trip of 20 miles round trip to get the damaged rope back. Please compensate me for my time and effort. Thank you Gaby

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Reliability

I like it for the price

I like it for the price it's quite silky I hope it's a bit harsh. Make sure you stretch, grab, and go over it a few times so you don't get any knots! I found a small defect, looks like it could be a "part" of a spiced strand? I don't think it will have any impact.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • I'm not sure

As advertised and good value for money

This is an anchor that attaches to a 10lb Danforth anchor for our 16ft powerboat. We run primarily in inland coastal waters where the depth is 15 feet or less and the bottom is mostly sand. This works great and is a good value. I don't mind, but I appreciate the opportunity to buy American and support veterans.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Has some quirks

Nice looking anchor line and most likely good quality as I had it before

I can only go by what I see and only after some time of use do I know if the line is that good how she look . I used to have anchor lines from the same company and they were great for a couple of years. I then changed them for security reasons, although they are still fine. Soon I will need to purchase a 1/2" tether and will be using the same supplier.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • No automatic

Works perfectly! at Sports

Just received my 200ft line and was very impressed. You can't beat him for money. The only complaint I have is that it dissolves instantly when cut. I have found that using a propane torch is the best way to cut it because the heat melts both ends which prevents unraveling. I'm sure the factory has a heated knife, but the burner works pretty well. Watch out for hot drips when using a burner.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Your rope saved us during Hurricane Michael

We live in Panama City and received an order for rope a few days before Hurricane Michael devastated the area. The rope was meant to replace our existing anchor lines but with an approaching storm we decided not to disturb the anchors and instead used our new Sgt Knots rope to attach to a post on the shore. As you can see in the before and after photos, our boat was still there thanks to this super product. There is a 1/4 inch deep rope print around the post, but the rope itself looks nice…

Pros
  • Very Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Soft and elastic rope. Just what I need for work

The product arrived the next day after I ordered it. Who knew 200 feet of 3/8 inch rope could fit into such a small package? Ball of my hitch and coming off the rope 5-6 times while holding it with gloved hands. The thimble was well spliced. this rope sinks) and then wrapped loosely in a milk crate. Star. This line is on my main (bow) anchor. I set it up and then run another 25-50 feet of rope. Set the stern anchor, then pull the bow anchor until both are set.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
