🔧 Capri Tools 3/8-Inch Drive Shallow Impact Socket, 6-Point Metric (24 mm) Review

I use this socket with a Milwaukee 2852 3/8" impact wrench. Milwaukee is one of the most powerful 3/8" impact wrenches on the market and this head will handle any load with ease ... Definitely recommend.

I use this as a custom oil filter canister cap removal wrench on my 2019 Grand Cherokee. The plastic nut on the cap is well made and doesn't round off. If necessary, I will buy more sockets from this manufacturer.

In the course of time and when various tool trolleys are not nearby, I order such spare parts. I haven't had this type of breakdown with small power sockets, but again, I prefer using the right tool for the job and maintaining the correct torque settings.

The 3/8 socket wrench was too small to fit my standard 3/8 master ratchet or any of my extensions. That's the only outlet I've ever had problems with. I had to sharpen the inside a bit with a dremel to use it.

I lost this socket from my 3/8" Impact Socket Set which almost ruined my life. Lose a piece from the main movement and it's game over. I could have thrown everything away. Fortunately, this is an exact replacement. I've had a lot of tight decisions in my life, but this is close to the top.

No problem. Subject it to some serious torture with a powerful percussion pistol to try and unscrew a frozen exhaust nut. It was a good 6 point fit on the nut so no edges were exposed. I ended up having to cut this thing off because it was too stuck, but at least this outlet survived the bullying!

I like my Matco ADV 3/8 socket set but it only goes up to 22mm. I wanted to add 23mm and 24mm so I ended up with these deep and standard Capri heads as they look quite similar. Deep hole capris are hair length, but they are good quality and almost as thick as ADV. Time will tell how they hold up but very happy with this purchase.
