Shangyuan Pontoon Docking Spreader Navigation Review

I just installed them on my boat and am very happy with the result, it was bright enough to see the navigation at the beginning or end of our fishing trip. The only downside is that the equipment will rust quickly, it needs to be of higher quality stainless steel if it is going to be installed near water.

The light is brighter than expected. Installation is nothing short of hell! You will need to remove the side plate from the lantern to allow the bolt to thread into the nut, which will break the seal. Mine are installed on my T-Top. The mount they send is not shaped to shine the light directly into the cockpit. I just installed them so maybe I'll update this if I can use them. I'm not sure I would buy them again.

installed these on my pontoon, just made 2 small brackets to attach to existing rail attachment points, used existing loops and cable holes to install these without screws or drilling. All I had to do was put some switches on the dash and hook it up to the fuse box. Super bright, easy to adjust. But remember, these are docking lights. You can't circumnavigate the entire lake with that - you blind everyone else and get a fine at the end.

Note we have not installed the headlights yet. However, the product initially looks as described. The biggest problem we face is that we don't have all the parts to install. Looks like 6 washers should have been included but weren't. We only have nuts and bolts. We will find washing machines, but this will slow down the installation process. Hopefully all will be as good as we think once this is done and the lamps are in place.
