Much better than I expected. Amazing value.

Excellent knife. yes it is cheap Yes, it's stamped, not forged. Yes, it was incredibly poignant. The tree looks better in real life. The knife turned out great. It's a bit lighter than my "nicer" knives, but it's fun to use. I bought this for a travel box but lives on my counter now.

Pros
  • Only positive
Cons
  • Sad equipment

Cheap and affordable, worth it with basic content.

Overall it seems a decent knife for the money, too bad I couldn't get a pack of these like other cheap kiwi knives. The only thing I don't like about the design is the pins on the handle. With more expensive knives, they are ground flush with the wooden handle, these are not. Good for detail work with food and fruit.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Repair

Great value for money - cutlery and knife accessories

This is a great choice for a basic paring knife with no frills. I like the shape and feel of the knife, it's light, nimble and very sharp. The steel seems pretty decent, especially for the low price. I have several different paring knives of various shapes and lengths and I will definitely find a use for this one. I will probably order another one and add it to my camping kit.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • There are flaws

My favorite knife!: Peeling knives

I love this knife. I like that the blade is thin so I can slice fruit thinly. I'm the kind of person who doesn't want to waste time and doesn't care much about the knife. I want to be able to use the knife to cut things the way I want, wash it and sharpen it from time to time if needed. I've invested in good cutting boards so the knife will last longer between sharpenings. Just because it's a great mallet knife doesn't mean you can use rocks as a cutting board.

Pros
  • are easy to understand even for old people
Cons
  • No version

Another very sharp knife from Kiwi Brand

I ordered this direct from Thailand with normal shipping. I knew it wasn't a good option for impatient people and that was fine. It came out of the box very sharp. I use sling and smooth steel on my Kiwi brand knives and the blade always comes out very sharp. The only thing I don't really like about this knife is that it has round head rivets to hold the handle in place instead of the flat rivets found on other kiwi knives. I still love it and so does my wife.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • No paint required

another kiwi winner

very cute. I bought these Sodoko style knives and saw a smaller paring knife so I bought that. Like the big ones, it's razor sharp, ideal for slicing limes, herbs and garlic and the like. Just for example for peeling apples the knife is wide, and my regular paring knife (Henckels) does a better job as it's thinner and almost like a roast beef. and excellent value for money. I'll probably hire another for similar tasks (apples, oranges, pears, etc.).

Pros
  • new to my collection
Cons
  • sad packaging

Inexpensive, but my favorite knife!

Somehow while surfing the internet I came across a "knife" site and ended up in their forum. One thread mentioned a kiwi knife and the guy said it was very cheap but very sharp. So I found this at Revain and decided to give it a try. I've had it for about a year now and it's my favorite knife. I've never had to sharpen it and it's still very sharp. I still shake my head at this little paring knife because it's the cheapest knife I've ever bought and it's my favorite! I wholeheartedly recommend…

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Makes me angry

I need more good things for the kitchen and dining room

This knife is perfect for a couple, it's very sharp and very useful, any kiwi brand knife is great. If I had to list the pros and cons, I would say: Pros: This knife is very sharp. The knife has a comfortable handle. It's easy to sharpen if you have the right tools, it's easiest to sharpen if you don't feel comfortable with it I wouldn't recommend it myself as it needs sharpening more often. It may develop slight rust if left in water. How to care for a knife: I use boiled flaxseed. Oil weekly,

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
