Great Cables - Sport

Buy this OEM cable and connect it to the OEM case. This can give your mechanisms an instant performance-enhancing tweak. Cuts cleanly with cord cutters unlike some of the cheap ones that come off on you.

  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • There are cons

Exact replacement for Sport

Exact replacement for my Shimano Ultegra 6800 drivetrain at a great price. Luckily, unlike other cables I've bought in the past, they include an end cap to secure the end of the cable after trimming.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Nothing here

THESE ARE SHIFTER CABLES, NOT BRAKE CABLES

I used them on my typical Mongoose 29er mountain bike with Shimano Grip Shifters and they worked perfectly; but these are not brake cables; If you need brake cables, order this: Shimano brake cable and housing kit (universal)

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Exactly as described, easy to install, looks and works well

is exactly as described, easy to install, looks and works well. very happy with it. I put them on my other bike and bought a pair for my sons. Easy to install and better quality than the Walmart brand I initially put on and the ends wore out almost immediately.

Pros
  • Trial version for one year
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Seems to be a good quality cable. Now my switches work great.

Arrived on time, good quality and long enough. I like to shorten the cables a bit longer because I often adjust the handlebars. Very easy to install. Be sure to wipe down the cables with a good bike lube before installation. After adjusting, my switches work great.

Pros
  • Easy assembly
Cons
  • A few little things

High quality on the bike

The cables are beautifully galvanized and do not wear out during installation. Running new cables was fairly easy. I'm a former diesel mechanic who enjoys tinkering with mechanical things, which is probably why this task is so easy. However, unless you're mechanically inclined, I'd recommend taking the bike to your local BS for installation.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • High price

Good cable but not as slippery as Jagwaire

This material is long enough for most standard bikes (not tandems) and usually smooth enough for road conditions. However, after using the Jagwire cable set on my mountain bike, it doesn't seem to be as "smooth" as the Jagwire set. Keep in mind that I use them with brifters and road components, so this may affect that. However, these are still good cables and work great on my road bike. They come with end caps to keep the cable from fraying. If you don't want to pay for Jagwire, it's a win-win.

Pros
  • An Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Crumpled Wrap

Keep them handy

So affordable and great to have on hand. I actually bought them for another project that didn't really need them. Rather than sending them back I threw them in my parts box, but after a few weeks I was glad I had them when I noticed my derailleur cable was badly frayed and I noticed it when I lubed the chain being ready. for an epic 20-mile mountain bike ride with friends. Fear not, I swapped out the cable in minutes, giving me a great, worry-free ride.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Negative gift
