Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I can say confidently that this kayak is not worth the investment.It failed to perform when it mattered the most, leaving me stranded in the middle of a lake. I bought two of these and would like to return them immediately. The seat is too short - it folds and folds up too easily so there isn't much protection from the scupper holes that allow water to seep through on the seat bottom. The back is a joke. It barely reaches the lower back/lower back with very little support. It's also quite narrow, so if you're a little wider I can see that's an issue. It was supposed to be for a child size I missed?
