You won't be disappointed with the end result.

Follow the directions and advice on the Shurhold website and you'll get a nice finish. This is the first time I've used a polisher to protect my BMW E30 and I'm very happy with the results. I wish I had started this many years ago.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Not bad overall but...

Perfect Buffing Pad for Perfect Buffer

Featuring the Shurhold Dual Action Buffer, this is the pad you need. It works great and can be washed and used many times. I recommend having a second one in case you get it dirty while buffing. It attaches to the polisher with Velcro on the back. Revain always has the best price and you don't have to leave your home to buy it.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • No Instructions

Pads torn in half - cheaply made!

These foam cutting mats are terrible. I bought 2 pads and when I reassembled my client's car BOTH pads broke in half. The first pad lasted long enough to fix the hood and two front fenders before it broke in half. The second panel only held two doors and also broke in half. I always loaded both pads with 5 coin-sized drops of compound to keep the cracks from drying out. I never push the buffer, I always let the buffer do its job. These are cheap, poor quality pads that I will never buy again.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Good but not great

Do not store wet polishing pads

They are well made and safe. Eventually, the outside of the pad compresses where it protrudes past the machine disc and doesn't apply even pressure to the rest of the pad, so it's time to replace it. I was almost at the end of the job and went to the second of the two pads in the pack, done, washed the pad and thought I had completely dried it. A form of mold has formed in the foam over the winter and has spread through the polisher bag, despite being in a dry storage shed. My only guess is…

Pros
  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • Quality
