Just plain fun, but don't underestimate what it can do!

I like this little thing. It works very well on Linux and Windows distributions. With plenty of ports (even a display port), it's a communicative little thing that drains power very easily. You can run it all day for less than a lightbulb. We attached it to the back of the monitor so there is no trace! With built-in SSD, it is silent as only the CDROM makes noise when in use. Internal Wi-Fi is sufficient, but if you don't have a strong signal to your hotspot I would recommend connecting a LAN…

Perfect entry level PC in Computer Components

This is my first barebones PC, this PC exceeded my expectations, for $200 you get the PC itself, power cord, power supply, hard drive bracket, odd bracket and CD with drivers, which can also install malware. What I have installed on my computer is 2GB RAM (4-8GB is the supported amount), wd 160GB odd hard drive, 8GB flash drive (used with Windows Ready Boost) and Windows 10. Pros: supports Windows 10 ., odd hard drive compatible, small size, fanless mode, 24/7 operation, gigabit lan, wifi bgn…

Out of service

In the last year and a half I've tried everything from new peripherals, hard drives and even operating systems. I would like to know if I can be compensated for this headache, time and; I can't even tell you how much I spent on this system. My patience is at an end. The computer suddenly goes black and I have to hard boot it by unplugging it. Have you heard any other complaints or frustrations? Because I had it with an untrusted computer, not just POS

The DS77U3 is a very nice, quiet, small form factor PC.

Considering that you can just add 2400x speed storage and an NVMe M.2 card, you're running at a pretty decent speed overall. If you're looking for a fast yet affordable drive, look no further than the Corsair MP300. Although "only" 2-lane PCI, it still outperforms the best SATA SSDs. Note that some of the 4 lane NVMe drives show up as unrecognized in the BIOS. But as long as you have an M.2 slot configured for PCIe mode and the boot type is set to UEFI, Windows can see the drive. (Weird…

Pros
  • 2x 260-pin dual lane DDR4 SODIMM sockets, 16GB per DIMM (32GB max).
Cons
  • Very expensive
