The quality is good, the quantity is not.

As mentioned in many reviews, my product was 3 inches shorter than ordered. My rating reflects the fact that the simplest indication of quality and the easiest to deliver (quantity of product) that these people can't meet, that speaks volumes to people who obviously can't read a tape measure looks acceptable quality.

Most have it for all outboard owners

This is the hose you need for your outboard. Don't skimp on the hose when connecting the fuel tank to your outboard because all it takes to kill the outboard is a small piece of bad hose sucked into the engine. This hose lasts longer than any other and plays a key role in the fight against the ethanol plague! Plus, it's USCG approved! It's only losing a star because it's so damn expensive.

Stay away from Class B hoses. In just 3-6 months, at $50 each, I found the Moeler hose liners coming off and bits getting into the carburetor and because of today's ethanol, my outboards clogged in gasoline. This Sierra hose is a real find. The construction of the Sierra Type A1 is significantly better and should last a long time. It was a lot cheaper than the grade B junk that Moeler makes. I highly recommend everyone to switch to an A1-15 tube. So far this is the way. It's not worth risking a

Sierra (116-368-0383) 3/8 " Low Permeation Fuel Hose (Short)

I have no complaints about this hose. It's exactly what I needed and wanted. Quality and homologated by the US Coast Guard. However, as many reviewers have noted, it arrived short (i.e. it's not 10 feet as advertised.) This may be new math they're using at the moment, but last time I checked that one foot is equal to 12". So 12" x 10' should equal 120" by my calculations. Is not it? Well, mine arrived in 112". Short 8" (6.67%). I now have enough tubing to complete my statement but since I…
