Gimbal bearing was defective. I had to buy another one and pull the drive again. Purchase parts separately for a refund if defective.

Bellows and gimbals are missing. I didn't open the box until we unplugged our drive. I had to go to the local dealer to get parts. Have returned this item. Be sure to check the content as other reviewers had the same issue with missing parts.

Well finally got around to using this kit took out the gimbal bearing and it jammed. Does not move in the body, regardless of the force exerted. We also noticed aluminum shavings in the oil port, so that's probably the problem. You need to replace the bearing with another one. I am very hesitant to buy Sierra products now.

. This kit was used to service our '78 OMC Cobra. The old bellows were leaking, water got into the cardan bearing and the U-joint. The kit included all the seals that needed to be replaced. Exhaust bellows in the kit are those with slots on the underside. I was hoping for a strong exhaust bellows as it was originally on the boat but this will do.

Good kit. Includes all necessary parts for rear/output drive service. I recommend Permatex Cooper silicone sealant for the paper seal and Permatex "Hightack" adhesive for the bellows. Both are available here on Revain. The Cooper silicone seems to seal better due to the age of my front drive surfaces. I also use it on the output side of the gimbal bellows.
