Reliable, easy to use, lots of great features

Like many others I have switched from an old analog oscilloscope to this modern 4 channel digital oscilloscope and it has proved amazingly useful. I wish I had bought this sooner. Basically, an analog oscilloscope only works for repetitive events, such as B. Repetitive waveforms. But a digital (cumulative) oscilloscope even records single events. Such non-repeating signals are widely used in digital systems and microcontrollers, so it has been an indispensable tool in several recent projects…

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Discarded

Excellent, best electrical test ever

Siglent SDS1104X-E 100MHz I've only had this scope for a day but so far it's easy to use, no problems so far. I've only used it for simple monitoring of low speed PWM signals in the 100Hz to 5kHz range. I was interested in the screen size. The actual screen size used is about 177mm. (154mm wide x 87mm high) I mainly used the TDS2024. It has dedicated vertical position controls for each channel, which isn't present here, but that's not a problem. I love the dedicated channel on/off buttons on…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful

I think there are enough positive arguments to recommend this scope over Rigol's 1054Z offering to justify the extra cost. This section's UI is responsive and clean compared to the sluggish input response on Rigols. The waveform grid offers 14 divisions instead of 12. The menu titles do not overlap the waveform display area. The sampling frequency in 4 channels is normal for a 100MHz oscilloscope and mediocre for a 200MHz oscilloscope. However, with two ADCs, you can get 2 channels at 1Gbps…

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Bushing required
