Turn signals for use with LED light.

I used a turn signal on one of the safety lights on the fender of a farm tractor. The new light is an LED, so the old turn signal will not work as the LED is not drawing enough amps to make it flash. I took off the old indicator, plugged in the new one, turned on the light and everything worked. 4 stars only because I haven't used it yet, I don't know if it's enough. I don't see why not.

They need some resistance to work

They work but require minimal resistance to work. I've replaced all my signal lights with LEDs, but this relay lights up instead of switching unless I leave a bulb in one of the sockets. I could have added ballast resistors but ended up replacing these relays with CEC Industries EF32RL. They worked great with all LED bulbs and made a clicking sound.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time

  • Some little things

They only work with bulbs or LEDs

I replaced the original turn signals on my Honda NightHawk with some inexpensive ebay bulbs. The bulbs in the new bulbs always got smaller than the original turn signals, so they didn't draw enough current to run the original turn signal. These new flasher relays worked perfectly. I haven't had them long enough to know how durable they are, but they're off to a great start.

Works great with LED turn signals when connected properly.

Replaced standard bulbs for turn signals and position lights with LED. The turn signals don't flash, they just light up. I bought LED turn signals for turn signals and emergency flashers. When I installed new turn signals, the bulbs lit up and didn't flash. I checked the battery cable and charging cable. You were wrong in the wiring harness. I switched the wiring in the connector to the turn signals and they worked! Switching to LEDs makes a big difference as they are much brighter than…

Worked for 10 seconds then tried to burn my car

I recently bought some LED bulbs for my 1988 Corvette so I also bought these 2 packs to upgrade my alarm and hook up the flasher relay to the adapt to requirements. I decided to put a relay in front of the lightbulbs. On my machine, the emergency flasher is more accessible, so I started there. It didn't work at first. but that was due to the polarity design which I expected. I switched connections and tried again. Now my fuses have blown and as advertised this relay is completely silent. The…
