Silicon Power 2400MHz PC4 19200 Desktop Review

Thanks to normal timings for such money, it was suitable for assembling a cheap game PC. It gives quite good results, heatsinks are not needed without overclocking. In overclocking, I was able to raise one step to 2666.

Good memory, even with an application for overclocking - I took 2666 on an inexpensive motherboard, while the timings were 18, tried up to 3000 - overclocked, but returned the previous 2666, because there are no radiators.

I bought myself such a model of memory for building a PC. I didn’t notice any problems while driving with memtests, the overclocking potential is present - it overclocked to 2666 MHz, takes 3000 MHz, but with lower timings, but in this case this is not a minus, because the memory is not gaming.

I collected it on such a -pc. The performance is quite normal, of course not for professional gaming, but overclocking to 2666 MHz turned out. In games, it behaves stable, the frame rate is normal, the level is straight without a peak.

I have been using this RAM for more than 7 months, while only positive emotions. Operative works perfectly, very high speed. The RAM itself is made with high quality, there are no single clues or defects on the board.

I bought it to improve the speed of the PC. I ordered two pieces that worked quite well in dual-channel mode, without additional fuss in the BIOS. After playing games on the old motherboard and DDR3 and comparing with this memory on DDR4, I noticed a good difference, the picture itself became quite smoother, twitching and freezing disappeared.

I mainly bought it to work on the Internet, I use 5-6 browsers at the same time, 7-8 windows in each. There is enough RAM memory, it does not heat up, the pages have stopped hanging, previously I had to complete tasks through the dispatcher.

In the working computer, problems with loading began, the fault was the small amount of RAM, which is 4 GB for heavy resources. Expanded with this bar. I installed it myself, everything is elementary there. It works better and much better now, the freezes have disappeared and it has stopped warming up. The memory bandwidth is decent, which is very important.

I took in the average budget gaming computer. I immediately tried it in overclocking, since the motherboard is expensive. 2666 dials easily, without increasing the timings. 3000 MHz. I also took it, but it gets a little warm, so on such excessive overclocking I would advise you to do it like me, put on radiators. After radiators and overclocking, it turned from a regular one into a gaming one.

It heats up a little, but it's more like the general temperature of the hardware, next to an overclocked video card. At factory settings, it works like a clock. I tried to overclock to 3000. It works fine, including the render. I think if you play around with the timing it will be possible to raise the bar even higher, although I'm not sure. I have two of them and both work fine.

Bought two lines. The fact that the memory runs at a lower voltage means that it generates less heat, which is already enough in the computer. I didn’t test it, not a specialist, I still wouldn’t understand anything in these figures. But visually, the speed of data processing, and I work mainly with graphics, has grown. There were no problems for six months of use.

Good RAM, loads everything very quickly. I bought myself for games, so in games it shows all its power. After a heavy load on the RAM, I did not notice overheating, I used it without additional radiators. It’s quite comfortable to use without overclocking, it works stably, it doesn’t give errors, it doesn’t crash, there were no conflicts between drivers. The plates themselves are very compact. Consumes energy very economically.

Bought for a cheap gaming PC. In the stock frequency, I ran it a couple of times with the Aid benchmark, the result is at the level of more expensive kingstones. Then I decided to overclock, on the average motherboard I stably took 3000 frequency, with 19 timings, again, after running the benchmark and tests in games, no BSODs were noticed, as for me, the result is good, considering that the memory is not at all positioned as gaming. I did not notice any heating of the memory after…

I assembled a gaming PC on ryzen 5, gth 1060 and this memory. I took 4 dies, so that it was 32 GB. It works right away, there were no additional settings, the motherboard immediately found it. Now about overclocking: I took 3133 MHz at timings 17-19-18-37 - it's just wonderful. Heating by pyrometer up to 50 degrees in acceleration, who will use it this way, I advise you to do as I do - throw on radiators.

The chips seem to be native SP In general, applied in the assembly Motherboard ASUS prime b350-plus CPU Ryzen 5 1600x I'm not an expert, but the BIOS of this RAM of all the available options, the maximum overclocked to 3000 already at 3066, the computer goes into error and resets to the original 2400. Maybe more, but unfortunately I don’t know how the timing is calculated correctly. PS. If someone managed to overclock it above 3000, write the timings.

I have two such strips for 18 years and a year and a half later I bought two more. For a year and a half, production has changed - the stepping has been ated, the design of the printed circuit board is slightly different. The 18 years sticks worked stably at 2666 MHz with timings of 12-14-28-1T at increased voltage. I expected the same indicators from the new ones. Planks with a new stepping don't run like that and now all four modules are on 2666 15-15-15-35 at normal voltage.

I bought myself these silicone planks for assembling a media station. Frequencies for 2400 MHz for watching video behind the eyes, so, friends, I did not test for overclocking. In the bios of the motherboard it was determined at the correct frequency. After passing memtests like mem86, etc. - there were no errors, the RAM did not go into blue screens. The chips are warm to the touch during operation, they do not need additional cooling.
