This is for the 3x3.5 adapter model, just in case Amazon groups all the reviews under one like they do with Intel i7 processors. The fan was louder than all other fans in my case. I ended up removing it and the pace didn't change much. Other than that, it's pretty nice.

I love this product. I can't stop looking at the brushed aluminum or HDD activity lights, which are way too pretty for something like this.
