Good for cycling

For cleaning chains on motorcycles. Spray it with a chain cleaner, spin the wheel and gently press with this brush, easily removes all the dirt and grime. Makes chain and sprocket cleaning easy, and the extra few bucks for a metal wheel is more than worth it to ensure it will last for many years to come. Definitely a great buy!

Get that made of metal! in Cleaning tools

I bought it to clean the chain on my motorcycle. I'm glad I bought the metal brush and expect it to last for years. The brush fits my Honda VFR chain perfectly and makes cleaning the chain easy. When the brushes wear out, you can easily buy replacement brushes for this pen. This works well with DuPont Motorcycle Chain Degreaser. I'm so glad I have a stronger metal grip. It will not bend or break under normal use.

Worked well until one of the three bristle plates broke off

This is the second time I have ordered this motorcycle chain cleaner. The first time, one of the slots holding the bristle pad broke, causing the bristle pad to no longer stay in place when cleaning the chain. When I bought the second time, the end of the 3rd arm holding the 3rd bristle pad broke off after just a few uses. I really want people to like this product and I think it is brilliantly designed but the quality control needs to be improved. For around $15, I expect more durability…

good brush - sport

I am new to motorsport and have my first bike. I bought this brush and used it with cleaning spray and then sprayed the chain with lube. I sprayed the cleaner onto the chain and, after letting it sit for a few seconds, smashed it in with a brush. The brush did its job well and the seam did a good job. Longevity time will tell, but most likely it will be something that will last a long time. I was considering a version with a plastic handle but am now glad I bought this one. I gave the brush a…

Not bad for the price

Not bad for the price. I was spending about the same amount for my senior year that I lost until this one came (of course). This works fine. The blue bristles are bent after the first use. This is not. I love the replacement bristles. Nice touch so you don't have to buy the whole part again. Let's see if I have that thought when I see the price of replacement bristles! Worth buying! I put my rear wheel (CBR1000rr) on a jack and put it in first gear. He says he's not supposed to have a bike, but

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Good

The perfect tool for motorcycle chain maintenance. It's the "gold standard" for what it is. I don't know what to add to this review other than living up to its reputation. I can't imagine how it can be improved. This is the Metal version so I assume it will be lost forever. I've considered a plastic version, but I've broken quite a few over the years. I expect this will be the last I will ever need! Replacement brushes are easy to find and fairly inexpensive, especially since each set should…

Best grunge brush I've ever had

Very useful and spare brushes. The aluminum handle will last for years. Don't buy these plastic copies, they will become brittle and break mid-work if you use solvents. This one isn't as good for bike chains as it is for motorcycle chains, just because of the small size of the chain on bikes. For a dirty bike/motorcycle, this should be in your cleaning box. I would and will recommend this product, especially for o-ring chains. Solvent should not be used on chains with O-rings as it will…

Five chains M/C, still great

Read many reviews, some say brush is worn out after one use, bristles keep bending, too loose, broken inserts…. I don't know exactly what they are doing to achieve this. Yesterday I cleaned four 520 and one 530 motorcycle chain with it and it looks almost new. Still firmly attached to the chains, no permanent deformation. All I can think of is that these people used an incompatible solvent or they tried pumping this thing up to polish a badly rusted chain. I used WD40 as a thinner for reference

Pros
  • Great construction
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
