I used these 6 inch galvanized slats as towel hooks for a bathroom renovation. I like how they look. I have 4 inch slats that I can use as drawers. I use attachments on my dock to moor canoes. However, please note that they are supplied without screws. A+

This is exactly what I was looking for. We are completely renovating our bathroom and I am replacing the regular hooks we have with boat boots. So excited to receive them. I will buy more and make a towel bar and use clips to hold the towels.

best price-performance ratio. The best price you can get in any "big shop". The quality is good, they are well made and enough to keep my 20ft boat securely docked. We survived our last hurricane here in Florida with no problems. I highly recommend these boots.

The durability and value of the product are ok, but the benefits have not proven themselves. Often sea ropes run through the middle of the weft thread before being attached to it. The center hole of this boot is too small. Buy another product with a standard opening for your mooring line. The product is not recommended.

I use them to wrap cords on my MIG welder. They are large enough to accommodate the main spike and prevent twisting. I installed them on the side of the welding carriage. The 5/16" hex screw holes are a little tight, probably due to the electroplating. When I tightened the nut, the bolts went right into the slots. Good product.

Of course, don't expect much from cheap galvanized cast iron spikes. They'll do the job just fine, but I gave it two stars because the recessed hex screw holes don't match. A recessed hex on each of the slats was fine and the bolt head fit properly, but the other hole was so narrow I had to use a 4 pound hammer to set the bolt and one of them never went in properly, myself with it and some heavy ratchet.

Definitely durable cast. The rough non-slip surface holds the mooring line very well for a safe morning. I doubt the rope will slip off like polished spikes would. Don't expect the rope to go through this spike like you would with polished spikes as it will definitely pull through. I would have increased the number of sprockets, but I had to drill a hole for the screw as I couldn't find a stainless steel fastener that would fit into the recess provided in the head.
