Bought this set specifically for PC$-M6 fittings that work fine.

This set was purchased specifically for Dry Box Fittings PC4-M6 which work well. Some of the M10 fittings I use show no signs of aging, but when they do wear out I have plenty of spares. I only use Capricorn tubes so the included tubes get stuck in the "bunch" every time. The M6 screw connection holds the PTFE hose very well and shows no signs of wear even with almost daily use.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • boring packaging

Bowden hoses melted, couplings not optimal

Several of these Bowden hoses have melted at temperatures below 240°C. Pretty frustrating as it causes an instant blockage that is difficult to remove. The bowden tubes that came with the printer don't melt on me, don't know what's wrong with them. Some connectors have also lost their ability to open when the collar is depressed, causing them to become permanently stuck on the tube. Both hoses and couplings worked for some time.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for older people

Doesn't work without modification

All YouTubers advise you to buy these, the standard solution doesn't work. Well if you look at the pics there is a hexagonal shape of metal in the ones going to your extruder, you know the one you "rebuild from stock" bs. Well, not even 2 prints into a fresh new one, and it cuts, glues and tears the fillet in the extruder, probably due to friction/heat from that hexagonal metal being fed in. I put the stock back and there were no problems e.g. B. 12 prints. So I drilled out the hex and am now…

  • Free for educational purposes
