I can't believe I paid for it, the quality is disgusting.

Dear seller! Where do you look when describing a product?! Instead of this monopod, there was Sirui P204SR! I ordered it! Then you change the name and description of this monopod! Terrible and disrespectful to the customer! I will not recommend, rating 0. This monopod can be bought at the same wildberry much cheaper and will come faster. But changing the name after placing an order is no good at all!

Monopod Sirius P-306; buy 😋

Bought as others have mentioned; fits in your travel backpack. Put on the no-name ball head (works great for $19) for more comfort and they both work great together! In terms of weight, I have no problem with the Sirius P 306 - I love it; Sorry I found it a long time ago! I also have a Sirius A-1005 compact travel tripod, both of which fit my mirrorless setup.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Win-Win Purchase

I ordered this unit for two reasons: 1) I encountered packing difficulties (for carry-on) while packing for my recent trip to Grand Teton and Yellowstone. due to the short connection time) that I couldn't take my regular monopod with me, and 2) I saw Sirui being used successfully by several other people. It's not as light and expensive as my original monopod, but it's almost a third shorter! It has good touch and excellent finishes. It is easily adjustable and in the test tests proved to be…

Ideal! Good mono. Period!

Perfect! I chose aluminum (a price point) over carbon and was perfectly happy with the added weight. A fully extended monopod is about 5 feet tall. Perfect fit for my 6ft frame. It works well and I can clip it to my vest and it goes almost unnoticed except when I need it to use. My images are much sharper at 80-200/f2.8 and I always have the monopod with me. I like to tell my friends that it doubles as a staff to deal with vicious attack dogs and naughty children. Jokes aside, forget the carbon

  • Ideal for a small home

Very happy with this monopod!

I bought this monopod because it's lightweight and easy to pack in my carry-on. I used a Manfrotto monopod which worked great but is very heavy and doesn't collapse to the size of carry on luggage on an airplane. The Sirui is lightweight, easy to use and I love the clip that attaches for easy carrying. I like the metal point on the bottom that can be adjusted to suit the terrain - it looks a lot better than the tennis ball I had to attach to the bottom of the Manfrotto that went through the…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Speed

I bought this monopod for travel as the Manfrotto I use is very heavy and long even when folded and doesn't fit in my carry-on This one is a few inches shorter when folded and a bit lighter so I can pack it up instead of strapping it to my camera bag and worrying about security picking it up, although they never have (My daughter calls this my death wand because I can easily beat someone dead with it.) So this is my new death wand or maybe my skull fracture wand with a high survivability.Packed

  • Quality construction

I love this thing so much

It's compact but expands to a height I can't use. (Full extension, I'm only 5ft 3" tall and have a 3" ball mount). It's light yet strong enough to hold my D500 with a 600mm lens in most situations. But I don't usually carry such a large lens with me when carrying this monopod. I carried this thing all over Japan for 2 weeks and it has served me very well. Signs "without tripod" sell very well there. ha ha. At first I didn't like that it has 5 levels of adjustment while most other monopods I've…

Daughter is very happy with the compass.

I bought two Sirui P-306 monopods at the same time. One for me and one for my daughter. The monopod folds up enough for me to pack both in my carry-on for a trip to the UK. I had to remove the ball heads. The twist locks worked very smoothly and closed securely. I would like to point out that the monopod will flex a bit when each section is fully extended and locked in place. I'm slimmer and rely on a monopod to steady the camera while taking photos. I was able to minimize the flex by moving…
