Bracket didn't fit

I ordered this for my 1999 F250 Heavy Duty 4x4 and the bracket and U-bolts were too small. I installed the stabilizer and used the old bracket.

Pros
  • Sample for one year
Cons
  • Not bad

Does not fit Ford Super Duty

Does not fit Ford Super Duty. Will not thread directly into the factory tie rod without friction. Bracket and U-bolt are made in China and broke during installation.

Pros
  • directly Certified
Cons
  • Not fashionable

The supplied U-bolts are a bit small.

The supplied U-bolts are too small, you either have to bend them a bit or use an O-bolt and U-bolt, otherwise it makes a big difference.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

Easy Installation Fits Stabilizer Bars

Installation was pretty easy. Parts were a little short. The nut that attaches both ends of the shock was missing, and the bolt that attaches to the bottom of the axle was larger than the OEM hole.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Functionality

Seems to tame really big tires. Less post from the road for sure. I've been using f250 since 35. Much less wandering. instructions are missing. You have to take your time and figure out what goes where. Took me about an hour in the dark to fight mosquitoes.

Fits good. Works as advertised.

Installed in 2003 F350 Diesel. This truck did not come from the factory with a steering stabilizer but had a bracket on the passenger side of the front axle. The U-bolts and plate were difficult to get perfectly vertical, but nothing could be fixed with a light tap of a hammer. The instructions were sufficient but the photos were not very good. The instructions included part numbers that I did not order, but they still apply to this kit. Quite different with some 285/65/R16 tires on stock…

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • High Price
