Too soft for a truck. These are male beta shocks.

They were black and they were skyjackers so I bought them for my 2010 Chevy Avalanche. They are so soft that after two days I took them off and put in a couple of OEM upgrades. Terrible roll with them, too soft. Rubber dust boots are also not designed to stay in place very well.

Pros
  • Easy install
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Fits 1985 Toyota pickup rear (2 " rise)

I'm not an expert on shock absorbers but I like them. To be honest I bought them because they're black, they sizes up have for my truck with a different height and cost less than $20. They fit the back of my 1985 Toyota pickup truck with 2" lift. Now the truck is definitely more comfortable to use and the fluid doesn't leak. Bilstein or I couldn't afford OME shocks, so they seemed like a good middle ground.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

Huge upgrades in dampers, struts and suspension

Wow! My old shock absorbers were shot to hell. Having new shocks is a great relief. New 4-inch Soft Ride leaf springs are installed. The rear no longer wobbles, jumps or bounces. Handles bumps, dips and pits in the road with ease! It's like driving a new truck in the back. Came in easily like all the shock absorbers on an older car. They didn't come with new washers, just buy them at a hardware store or car dealership. The bushings fit snugly into the mounting rings, a little white lithium…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Bad construction and too soft, only for OFFROAD

They are terrible, the only good thing about these shock absorbers is the comparison without shock absorbers at all, my Tahoe rolls even on the smallest ones like a beach ball, turning every little bump in the road makes me feel like I'm sailing the high seas, I almost want a boat wheel and an eye patch to drive my car, my wife got seasick and I think my baby has already caught scurvy. The shocks are really terrible as they are gasless. They don't have "spring force" like nitrogen shock…

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
