Waste of Money- Failed Hook

This hook is a complete waste of money. As my tests showed, it has a low holding capacity, which can ruin your boating experience. The only pro of this hook is its ease of use, but that doesn't make up for its poor performance. In the Sports and Outdoors category, quality should come above anything else, so save your money and go for a better option.

Pros
  • Efficient and quick anchoring solution for boats and watercrafts.
Cons
  • Requires a flat and stable surface for proper use.

Expensive but super comfortable

They actually snap onto my pier's cleats so launching and belaying my pontoon boat is now a 'quick release' action rather than tying - very nice and good did.

Pros
  • Loads of positive vibes
Cons
  • Damaged

VERY easy to use! for docking and anchoring gear

I've been boating for decades and use these sliding hooks all the time. I also used Danik's. We recently tried them on a tying plane and they work just as well with light tying. No more worrying about the right knot to tie and untie. So simple that everyone should enlist the help to protect your boat or whatever.

Pros
  • Heavy duty surface
Cons
  • Not all will fit
