I'm no newbie to hearing aids. This was my 4th set. I've tried everything from cheapy analog amplifiers to big name brands costing over 4K. These beat them all. I started out with one ZIV-201A. My 99 year old mother's very expensive hearing aids were misplaced at her assisted living facility. She needed something because she is practically deaf. I ordered them and they came very quickly. They have a nice case, a charging cord with two heads so you can charge two at the same time, and easy to understand directions. The hearing aids work as long as someone puts them in and turns them on. They can be adjusted, which is great. The only thing I don't like is that they have to be turned on.

UPDATE: Both my replacement are going downhill after 22 months on one and the other is going on 3.5 years since these both were free replacements under the 3 year warranty am not too upset. This time around I contact customer service and they responded the next day by e-mail. I knew I wouldn't get a replacement since one replacement was under 18 months warranty, it made it to almost 24 months .It still works sound wise, but wouldn't hold a charge for more the 9 hours .This hear aids hold 24 hrs

What I liked about the hearing aid was for about the first few times i wore it using an open dome tips on the lowest sound setting, there was no whistling, feedback, and no distortion. The only effect was that sound was crisper and brighter and therefore more understandable. Basically it was like magic. Bought for my husband. We can't get it to fit well or stay in place. Too fragile. Also it's virtually impossible to switch fittings to change ears.

This is my 2nd one. The guarantee is three years and the first on lasted 3 1/2 years. I am 84 and have moderate hearing loss in one ear and the product balances the sound for me when I watch tv making it possible for me to keep the volume turned down. Also I use it when our baby daughter comes for a visit since she has a soft voice. It allows me to catch every word she says. It needs to be charged after around 6 hours of use and it charges in around 2 hours. I recommend this model.
