This seems accurate, but it pinches my arm too tight!

I am fit and athletic, but I suffer from Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) so I frequent check my blood pressure when I’m feeling dizzy. My original monitor has been tested by my doctor for accuracy and this one gives readings that are pretty consistent with my old monitor.First photo shows reading with TrueMedic on left arm, and second photo shows reading on my old one, right arm. Blood pressure cuff for dummy. Just what I needed.

I have to monitor my Blood pressure daily. With my old cuff I was never sure if I was reading it correctly. Turns out I wasn't. My blood pressure was 194/105. That's asking for a stroke.So after a visit to my doctor I ordered this unit. I can't begin to tell you how easy this is to use. It's accurate with my doctors numbers. Easy to Use; Don't Like the Voice

This is an easy to use and easy to read blood pressure monitor. I get results similar to my Omron, which in turn is similar to my doctor's readings. I have average-sized arms for a woman and the cuff fits fine. The only thing I don't like is the "live" (how is it live?) voice. I don't need anyone yelling out my results. I'm sure there is a way to turn it off, but I haven't found it yet.

Before you use this

visit your doctor and have them take your blood pressure monitor and then show you how you should use this one. The reading should be somewhat similar so that you can then take your readings and record them as needed.

Cuff size is 32-42cm, not 22-42cm.

The cuff was too large, if fits 32-42cm. Though the seller claims it is 22cm in their responses. If you have small arms, don't buy this.

Provided cuff only fits large arms.

The cuff does not fit small to medium arms. It is 32 - 42 cm (12.6" -16.5"). The box says 22 cm - 32 cm for average size arms. My wife has small arms at 23 cm And mine are 28 cm, so the provided cuff doesn't work. I like the device though. Clear numbers and it talks. So I'll try finding a 22 - 32 cuff like mentioned on the box.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

We got the blood pressure monitor yesterday. We followed all instructions to set it up. I took a reading and got an error message. Then I took another reading, it didn't squeeze me nearly as tight, and I got a low reading. My husband tried it and got an error message. We tried to get his blood pressure 3 more times and each time got an error message. I tried 5 more times, got 3 error messages and 2 more readings, both high. I decided to try again in the morning.
