Limited settings but works

Bought to replace some old doorstops. Easy to install but requires a few more notches to adjust - there really aren't any options between 45 and 100 degrees. I had to add a small clear rubber bumper to the door frame to get true 90 degrees. Luckily it's not very noticeable as it's against the wall in the second bedroom.

Pros
  • Constant test results
Cons
  • Annoying

They work great for us

Have three of these, they work great for us, love them! Had to be used on the doors to get rid of the traditional door bumper and hinge pin. Also attach a door to remove the baseboard stopper for easier vacuuming. Smart stoppers are located on the lower doors: the entry closet, the kitchen pantry, and the master bedroom door, which rarely open fully and the bedroom door is left open most of the time. And we have no children. We had no damage to the frame and I love the slick look compared to…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Other

Good but limited angle adjustment

This is a good doorstop concept and easy to use. It won't damage the wood and is much more unobtrusive than traditional K-shaped stoppers. However, there are very few adjustments to the height/angle of the door. I bought a stop to open the door 180 degrees but it doesn't work. Either the door opens 150 degrees, blocking passage, or the next shot causes the door handle to bang against the wall. Look for other suppliers of this doorstop concept that offer finer adjustment.

Pros
  • There's something to it
Cons
  • Minor problems

Works great, won't damage door upholstery

I bought many of these from a big hardware store a year and a half ago but they stopped stocking them this summer. We have them on every door in our house. If they get bumped really hard they're sure to break something, but so far they've withstood quite a few bumps from our kids and they've avoided damage to the door frame caused by another type of hinged doorstop. You might not need them if you only have discreet people opening your doors, but they're great for families with kids.

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • Some difficulties
